Rock On Zariz has bounced back in a big way taking out the time honoured Stan Sadleir feature at Wagga yesterday.

Returning to her favourite track with owners aplenty trackside, the homebred appreciated a drop back in class and a 10/10 ride by Carly Frater-Hill.

Speed was true early with stablemate and favourite Mercurial Lad dictating the race, Rock On Zariz however was smothered up just worse than midfield carrying Barbara’s famous Doncaster winning lime green and blue silks.

On straightening Carly hugged the fence and showed nerves of steel as other riders brought their mounts to the centre of the track (pattern of the day). She found a nice response under riding and claimed victory over the bolder Not Too Sure ($101) with Mercurial Lad very brave in third ($3.80F)  giving the stable first and third in the $35,000 event.
