Croix De Vie powers home to score.

Jun 27, 2017

Croix De Vie has come with a barnstorming finish down the centre to claim victory at Moruya this afternoon.

A month freshen-up and back to a sprinting trip appeared the right recipe for the rising five year old who also relished a set of Blinkers to help him settle more genuinely.

His racing pattern of settling rearward was in effect once again under stable jockey Simon Miller who hadn't sat on the horse since his second and third start (for a second and third) early last year.  He bought him the widest on straightening and let-down strongly recording a 0.5L win on Classic Conquest ($7.50) with Depreciation ($20) a similar margin away in third.

The win was his third in nineteen starts in what was a good couple of days for the family with his little sister Little Naive also in the stable, running a gallant third on debut at Wagga yesterday.
