Darts Away records city success

Nov 16, 2016

Darts Away remains unbeaten this campaign after scoring second-up in a competitive CL 3 Highway at Rosehill Gardens.

Sent out at $19 following his narrow win in a four horse field first-up at Canberra, the gelded son of Onemorenomore has always been held in high regard  by the stable after tackling stakes company such as the Inglis Nursery, Inglis Classic and the Black Opal as a two year old.

Jumping well from the soft barrier, he settled fifth on the fence under Adam Hyeronimus following original jockey Jason Collett's misfortune after tumbling in a fall at Canterbury the night before.

With the leaders peeling off the fence, Dart seized the opportunity and sprinted strongly to eventually run away from the field late to score by a comfortable two lengths on Nic's Vendetta ($5) with Artistic Beauty ($11) a head away in third.

Many owners were on hand to witness the win, including breeders Howard and Judy Blight who have been loyal clients of ours with the pink and yellow starred colours.  Therese and Plucka Pony are other horses that they have with JJR at the present time.
